Yahoo phone is not only an unusual phone Japanese mobile carrier SoftBank rolled out yesterday. SoftBank subscribers may soon lay their hands on another, 007SH KT [JP], which has two points of sale: it is intended as a clamshell phone function (even if it runs on Android), and it has Hello Kitty written all over it.

Technically speaking, 007SH KT is based on a model which SoftBank introduced back in may for the Japanese market. Produced in so-called HYBRID Sharp AQUOS phone 007SH is now positioned as the first flip phone in the world runs on Android (2.3).

Hello Kitty version shares many of the (very impressive specs) this model: waterproof body, 3.4 inch touchscreen LCD display with 854 × 480 resolution, 0.7 sub-inch OLED display, CCD camera with 16MP 1, 280 × 720 HD video recording, IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR, a digital TV tuner, e-wallet functions, etc.

For fans of the cartoon cat SoftBank throws in menus and screens in Hello Kitty design, special badges for use in the letter, annex calculator Hello Kitty, Hello Kitty alarm clock, etc.

SoftBank plans to start shipping 007SH CT in Japan next month.
