Rejoice! It only took 10 months to build the Netflix million users in Canada. They started in September 2010 and July lucky Canuck named Amanda, in the province of Manitoba, they call their 1 millionth subscriber. She WINS life streaming Netflix subscription service and the lives of people asking if they can somehow get on this ".

It's really all news.

Something to consider though: Netflix still has a lot of growth, the road ahead in Canada. They have 25 million subscribers in the United States and Canada, however, that, if my math is right, is there 24 million in the United States. It is about 8% of the population! While in Canada, being served, the number is less than 3%.

With a solid broadband penetration and long winter streaming Netflix seems perfect for our friends in the North. Maybe they are afraid that they will go over their bandwidth caps?
