The Kindle is hot ereader on the planet, but I wouldn't buy one right now. No we just crossed the threshold, where it's just stupid to buy right now. You can wait a few weeks. Next gen model is right around the corner.

Amazon just reduce prices on refurbished Kindles. Now WiFi only model can be had for $ 99 while the 3 G version is only $ 129. It's cheap, even for a refurb. Accessories Kindle 3 now also have a lower price. SlashGear points out that the last Kindle refurbs and accessories went on sale, the Kindle 3 has launched only one month later. This is consistent with earlier rumors that new ereaders and schists may start in September or October. You can't wait until then?

Amazon has new models of the Kindle on tap; It's pretty much accepted as a fact now. Previous rumors had stated that they will run with a stylus tablet, much-anticipated Amazon. The Kindle fourth gen say include the touchscreen model and cost effective solution. These reductions seem to say that Amazon is clearing out the ol' warehouses in time for new models.

New models of the Kindle always bring the best e-ink screens, more memory and more clean styling. They say that popular ereader is going to get make during this time around, and may even lose its physical keyboard.

There is another choice though. Touch-ified Barnes & Noble nook is a fantastic device. If you can do without 3 G traditionally, Kindle products, this is an excellent route to ereader land and maybe right now for just $ 139.

However, your Kindle is shelving plans to purchase only a few weeks. The latest hotness is just around the bend. Go get a couple of books from the library and count down the days.
